WE ARE HISTORY MAKERS
As a church, we want to ask how we might impact history within our neighbourhood. How far we will go to bring the grace of Jesus to our community? We have an opportunity to fuel a different kind of fire in Elmwood — one that spreads within the flames of compassion, grace, love, and truth. Every time God’s grace flows through His church and breaks into someone’s life we get to be a part of history being written into eternity. This is why we are relentlessly committed to expanding our impact by developing our ministry venues right in the heart of Elmwood.
THE FACTORY
Located at 257 Riverton Avenue, has humble beginnings as an old door factory. Purchased by Riverwood in 2000, this historic Elmwood building now serves as one of our sites for our weekend services.
The Factory seats approximately 450 people, making it the largest meeting place of our four buildings.

THE GARAGE
Located at 274 Talbot Avenue, The Garage is one of our most significant connecting points with our friends and neighbours from Elmwood. Originally built as a truck repair shop and then later used as a funeral home. The Garage became Riverwood’s second building in 2005.
For over a decade it was the site for various programs throughout the week, including a food bank and drop-in serving the community of Elmwood.

THE SHED
The Shed is located next to The Warehouse at 270 Gordon, is a children and youth space that serves both our weekend worship communities and the Elmwood community. The Shed was once a storage shed for the Redekopp Lumber Yard before it was purchased along with The Warehouse property.
RIVERWOOD HOUSE
Located at the corner of Talbot Ave and Stadacona St, Riverwood House is a 40-suite Supportive Recovery Housing facility for those in recovery from addictions, facing unstable housing, and desiring a substance free environment. Bringing together fully independent living suites in a communal environment, a human-centred approach empowers each participant to discover, pursue, and own their goals in recovery with the guidance of on-site staff and supports.
